Hin Hales Garden is moist, shady - in fact quite enchanting. Listen to the nightingales, experience the steep canyon and enjoy wild and unspoiled nature.
Hin Håles Garden consists of wild plants such as large bitter-cress , golden-saxifrage, hedge woundwort, impatiens noli-tangere and arctium nemorosum. Here grows unusual mosses such as Platygyrium repens moss and hypnum pallescens and the rare fungus velvet-top. In May and June, you can hear the nightingales sing at night.
From late October to December, you might get a glimpse of the sea trout that migrate upstream to spawn in the lower reaches of the river Fitunaån. At the stream Brinkbäcken (which is part of Fitunaån), you can experience some adventure by going into the narrow canyon, surrounded by 10-15 m high steep slopes. The nature is untouched so it can be somewhat difficult terrain, but it's worth it! Take the opportunity to climb the mountain Vårdberget two kilometers south of Fituna. The mountain offers stunning views of Himmerfjärden and on the rock itself is an old beacon.
