The birdwatching areas of Örudden, Stenstrand, Reveln, Herrhamrafälten and Läskär can be found in the southernmost parts of Torö. A significant number of birds pass Örudden/Stenstrand during the autumn. On good days in September/October it is possible to see large numbers of birds of prey, including rough-legged buzzard, sparrowhawk, goshawk, hen harrier, buzzard, merlin and kestrel.

The birdwatching areas of Örudden, Stenstrand, Reveln, Herrhamrafälten and Läskär can be found in the southernmost parts of Torö.

The stretch at Örudden/ Stenstrand tends to be particularly good when there is a moderate north-westerly wind, as the birds are driven in to the coast and congregate at Ören.

Birds Södra Torö is mainly attracted by migratory birds.

A significant number of birds pass Örudden/Stenstrand during the autumn. On good days in September/October it is possible to see large numbers of birds of prey, including rough-legged buzzard, sparrowhawk, goshawk, hen harrier, buzzard, merlin and kestrel.

Different species come here in the spring, for example red-throated and black-throated diver, velvet scoter, oystercatcher and common eider (and occasional king eider). Large numbers of long-tailed duck, cormorant and resting eider, can be seen out at see. White-tailed eagle are often seen in winter.

Many waders rest at Reveln during the autumn.

A number of passerines can be seen resting in the fields at Herrhamra, for example Lapland bunting, snow bunting, chaffinch, brambling and common redstart.

From Läskär there is a good view of the seabird migratory route and the small birds which are carried inland from Öja (Landsort).

Over the years many rare species have been sighted on Torö, for example great Northern diver, white-billed diver, pallid harrier, pectoral sandpiper, three-year gull, hoopoe, Richard's pipit, tawny pipit, citrine wagtail, yellow-browed and Pallas's leaf warbler and golden oriole.
